OUR APPROACH
Basing our strategy on a customer-oriented approach, we at SCHRADER analyse our operations on a process model combining customer satisfaction and our own competitiveness.
Performance and continual improvement in the quality and environment fields are assessed in each process using indicators.
- Our customers’ quality requirements demand “zero error”.
- Workshops are organised along the lines of customer-oriented products not specialised technology lines as before.
- We have designed and manufactured machines equipped with self-controlling devices.
- Total quality approach.
Within the framework of this approach, Schrader has defined objectives for setting up a “quality strategy”.

APPROACH OBJECTIVES
Make manufacturing staff entirely responsible for product quality by fully integrating manufacturing quality control (self-controlling). Prioritise the principle of error-prevention over that of error detection by monitoring techniques (MSP) and aiming for continual quality improvement. Implement a quality organisation that suits the quality strategy, in other words :
- Integrating quality along the line from product design to the commissioning stage and on to customer use of products. (AMDEC/FMEA, experimental designs).
- Provision of an internal and an external quality guarantee (AQF).
- Targeting “Zero error” (principle of continual improvement).
- Getting our products quality-approved by our clients.
