The permanent pressure extinguisher has the advantage that it can be used without interruption. Pressurising, compressed gas back-up and regular internal pressure checks are provided by a short, screw-type SCHRADER valve.

CIRCUIT BREAKERS

High-power circuit breakers operating in a dielectric environment such as sulphur hexafluoride guarantees longer life to contacts, removes risks of explosion and facilitates a more compact construction. A long-type, screw-in SCHRADER valve is used in this case to create the vacuum, pressurise the gas and control the pressure.

LOADING VALVES FOR AIR CONDITIONERS

Valves designed for loading and controlling the pressure of refrigeration systems.All these valves have ¼ SAE male thread for connection to the loading pipes.

EXPANSION TANKS

The use of expansion tanks under nitrogen pressure is common in the field of household central heating. Use of a SCHRADER metal foot valve guarantees a perfect seal and allows the internal pressure to be checked and regulated where necessary.

CONNECTING SLEEVES FOR TELEPHONE WIRES

Telephone cable connections require perfectly sealed sleeves. Use of a SCHRADER metal foot valve allows the sealing of the network to be verified by measuring the internal pressure.

AEROSPACE

In the aeronautics industry, a special valve is used to fill a tank with neutral gas and keep it under high pressure for a determined period. In these severe conditions we can guarantee a product lifetime of a great number of years. SCHRADER has used all its know-how to succeed in this area.

AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR

High-pressure valves are used in aviation on landing gear suspension. They are designed for pressures of up to 600 bars and to withstand the combined action of oil and extreme temperatures.
